1. Finger-Prick Blood Is NOT Static

3. Finger-Prick (Capillary) vs. Lab (Venous) Blood

When you give blood at a laboratory (like Chughtai or Aga Khan), the phlebotomist draws **venous blood** from a vein in your arm. Your home meter tests **capillary blood** from micro-vessels.

After eating a meal, capillary blood in your fingers shows glucose rises **20 to 40 minutes faster** than venous blood in your arm, because oxygen and sugar pass through capillaries first before returning through veins.
